Kenichi Nagasawa, Advisor at Takaoka IP, attended a meeting with Mr. Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and Mr. Yamamoto, Executive Officer of Daikin Industries, Ltd., who has been appointed as the WIPO GREEN Japan Ambassador. The meeting was held in the presence of JPO Commissioner Yota Ono, representatives from the Japan Intellectual Property Association (JIPA), and the Japan Patent Office (JPO).
During the discussions, the participants reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between WIPO and the Japanese industrial sector regarding WIPO GREEN. They also exchanged views on cooperation related to WIPO GREEN at the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
