TAKAOKA IP is delighted to announce a merger with TAKAHASHI Patent Attorneys on February 1, 2019. Founders Tomoo Takahashi and Koji Arai are joining TAKAOKA IP together with their team, and will develop the domestic patent practice as partners. The team will be operating under the TAKAOKA IP brand.
TAKAHASHI is a boutique intellectual property firm that focuses on a range of patent practices for automobile and mechanical engineering such as:
- internal combustion engine control devices
- vehicle electronic control devices
- vibration suppression devices, and
- electronic musical instruments.
TAKAOKA IP will continue to provide patent services for TAKAHASHI’s clients. This merger will enhance the position of TAKAOKA IP as a northern Tokyo-based intellectual property law firm.
